Slow Cooker Applesauce
Fall kitchen smells and sweet applesauce go hand in hand. This is the BEST, easy, no sugar added applesauce made right in your slow cooker.

- 3 pounds apples, Cortland or MacIntosh work well
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Wash, core, and slice all of your apples into 1/2 to 1 inch slices. Leave the skin on for nutrition, color, and less waste.
Place the apple slices into a 4 quart slow cooker. Add water and cinnamon to the pot and stir with a large spoon to coat apples with cinnamon.
Set slow cooker to low for 6 hours or high for 2 hours.
When done cooking the apples will be very mushy. Simply stir them to get the apples to break apart and form the sauce.
