Mix the sage, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cayenne, ground pepper, and salt.
Mix seasoning into ground pork to evenly distribute
Cook the ground pork in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink, approximately 10 minutes.
Take the ground pork out of the pan and set aside.
Add the onion, garlic, and apples into the pan.
Cook the onions, garlic, and apples until everything starts to lightly brown, mixing occasionally. This will take approximately 10 minutes, depending on your skillet and stove.
Once the onion and apples are lightly browned, add in the cabbage and mix well to incorporate everything. The cabbage will overwhelm the skillet, but it will quickly wilt and cook down. Cook for 3-5 minutes, until cabbage starts to wilt but is still bright green or purple.
Add back in the ground pork and mix well. Serve warm.
