Tuna Patties
Spice up your tuna for an easy, protein-packed meal!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions or thinly sliced regular onion
- 1/4 cup chopped celery or grated celeriac root
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 12 ounce cans unsalted tuna packed in water well drained
- 4 tbsp Panko bread crumbs
- 4 eggs beaten
- 2 tbsp Tamari soy sauce low-sodium
- 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger
- 1 tbsp olive oil plus more for frying
Instructions
- Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a large skillet over medium high heat until oil is shimmering.
- Add onions, celeriac, and garlic and sauté until tender.
- Combine sautéed vegetables, tuna, and remaining ingredients in a bowl; stir well. Cover and chill 15 minutes.
- Shape into large patties.
- Heat additional olive oil in skillet until hot. Add patties and cook 3 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
