I am so proud of each and every one of you. If you are reading this right now, that means that you have taken some kind of action to help the plastic crisis. It is important to remember that your job doesn’t stop here. There is so much to do and every little bit counts. Whether you were able to complete one or all ninety challenges, you have done something. It takes time to shift your lifestyle. You may need to go back and challenge yourself again in a certain area, or pledge to do the whole thing again in a few months after you have gotten used to the changes you already made. Something that seemed impossible just a short while ago, may now seem like a no-brainer. This is not the end, but rather a pause to celebrate your accomplishments.

Today’s Challenge: Celebrate! This was a long challenge. You deserve to give yourself a pat on the back. Your final two assignments today are:

  1. Share with someone else a positive change that you have made
  2. Treat yourself! If you started a wish list, consider making a purchase as a reward. Or if you are totally burned out on plastic reduction, maybe you need to indulge in a guilty plastic pleasure. Either way, you deserve it!

I have thoroughly enjoyed putting this challenge together. If you also enjoyed it, I would love a shout out to a friend or share on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest. I have the entire challenge on my website and will update it as things change or new products become available, so if you know someone who might be interested, kindly point them in my direction. Of course I couldn’t include everything in this challenge, so if you have other ideas or would like help in a certain area, please comment and I will try to address it on the blog. I will continue to add new content to the Green Life Philosophy website, including ongoing weekly meal plans, advice for seasonal/local cooking at home, gardening, plastic reduction, and environmental topics. I hope you will continue to subscribe and follow along. And with that, I send you out into the world to do good things!
