It is crazy to me that we have all of these products around for purposes that used to be the job of just one item – a washcloth! You may have noticed that using a washcloth is a recurring theme in this challenge. It is an effective, multi-purpose tool that most people already have on hand. Washcloths and old rags have been used for hundreds, if not thousands, of years for everything from cleaning your home and body to bandages. But now we have separate items for every purpose. Two of those items are similar so I’m going to hit them both today – cotton balls and cotton rounds. Both of these items come in plastic bags and are single use.

Today’s Challenge: When your cotton balls and rounds are gone, switch to a washcloth or reusable facial pads for cleansing, make-up removal, and pretty much any other cotton ball/round purpose. You can celebrate the fact that you won’t have to deal with those little pieces of cotton sticking to your face any longer!
