Green Beans Almondine
An elegant, vegan side dish that is super quick to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans
- 1/4 cup Slivered Almonds
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Trim the green beans using a knife or kitchen shears to cut off the stems.
- Steam the green beans in a steamer basket that fits in a saucepan or boil for about 4 minutes in salted water, until tender, but still slightly crisp.
- Drain well and toss with olive oil and almonds. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
