Chimichurri Sauce
A fresh, herb-packed sauce that has many uses. Spoon over steak and chicken, or use as a salad dressing.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups packed fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro (or basil)
- 1/4 cup minced red onion or shallot
- 3 garlic cloves or 1&1/2 teaspoons garlic granules
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 3 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Finely chop parsley, cilantro (or basil), and onion and add to a small serving bowl.
- Mince the garlic or measure out the garlic granules and add to the bowl.
- Add the oregano, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil to the bowl and mix well with a spoon.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
