• Baked Apple Ingredients:
  • 3 apples cored and cut into slices (leave the peel on)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

Crisp Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flour or coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted or butter
  • 2 tbsp honey

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cut apples into 1 inch chunks. Mix lemon juice, honey, cinnamon and ginger. Coat apples with cinnamon honey mixture and pour into an 8×8″ baking pan and set aside.

To make the crisp, whisk together rolled oats, flour, sliced almonds, cinnamon, ground ginger, and salt in another bowl. Add melted coconut oil and honey, stir until it’s all crumbly. Pour mixture evenly over apples in baking pan.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until the apples are bubbling. Remove from oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes
